Wardell Stephen Curry II (pronounced /ˈstɛfɨn/) (born March 14, 1988 in Akron, Ohio) is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the National Basketball Association as point guard and shooting guard. He is listed as 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m) and 185 lb (84 kg) and has size 14 (US) feet.^[1]

He played college basketball for the Wildcats of Davidson College from 2006 to 2009. In 2008-09, he led the nation in scoring with 28.6 points per game and was a consensus first-team All-America selection by The Sporting News, Associated Press, National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA).^[2] Curry was twice named Southern Conference Player of the Year and to the John R. Wooden Award All-American team, set the all-time scoring record for Davidson and the Southern Conference, set school career records for three-pointers, free throws, 30-point games and 40-point games, set a single season NCAA record for three-pointers, and led Davidson to two straight NCAA tournament appearances.^[2]

Curry is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and former volleyball standout Sonya Curry. On April 23, 2009, Curry announced that he would leave Davidson after his junior year to enter the 2009 NBA Draft,^[3][4]

Christopher Emmanuel Paul (born May 6, 1985) is an American professional basketball point guard for the New Orleans Hornets.

Paul was born and raised in North Carolina. Despite only playing two varsity basketball seasons in high school, he was a McDonald's All-American and accepted a scholarship with nearby Wake Forest University. After his sophomore year with the Demon Deacons, he declared for the draft. Since being selected 4th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft by New Orleans, Paul has been a NBA Rookie of the Year (2006), a three-time All-Star, and an All-NBA and All-Defensive team honoree. He led the Hornets to the second round of the 2008 NBA Playoffs. He has also won an Olympic Gold Medal with the United States national basketball team.

Off the court, Paul is a notable ten-pin bowler and a sponsored spokesperson for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). He has participated in numerous celebrity and youth bowling events as the head of the CP3 Foundation to benefit programs in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina, and charities in Winston-Salem.

Carmelo Kiyan Anthony (born May 29, 1984), nicknamed "Melo", is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). After a successful high school career at Towson Catholic High School and Oak Hill Academy, Anthony attended Syracuse University for college where he led the Orangemen to their first National Championship in 2003. He earned the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award and was named the Most Valuable Player of NCAA East Regional. After one season at Syracuse University, Anthony left college to enter the 2003 NBA Draft, where he was selected as the third pick by the Nuggets.

Since entering the NBA, Anthony has emerged as one of the most well-known and popular players in the league. He was named to the All-Rookie team, to the All-Star team three times and to the All-NBA team four times. Anthony has led the Nuggets to two division titles and to the playoffs every season since his rookie year. In 2009, he helped the Nuggets advance to the Conference Finals for the first time since 1985. As a member of the USA national team, Anthony won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics and a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics.

Rajon Pierre Rondo (born February 22, 1986) is an American professional basketballplayer who plays point guard for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association(NBA). Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Rondo attended Eastern High School and Oak Hill Academy for his high-school basketball career, before receiving a scholarship from theUniversity of Kentucky. He played for two years at Kentucky before declaring for the 2006 NBA Draft, represented by agent Bill Duffy.

During the draft, Rondo was selected 21st overall by the Phoenix Suns, and was subsequently traded to the Boston Celtics, where he made his NBA debut as a rookie during the 2006–07 season. He played a supporting role before he established himself as the starting point guard for the Celtics during the 2007–08 season. That season, Rondo earned his first NBA Championship, playing alongside All-Stars Kevin Garnett, Ray Allenand Paul Pierce. His breakout performance came during the 2009 NBA Playoffs, helping his team to the second round.^[1]
