Allen Ezail Iverson (born June 7, 1975, in Hampton, Virginia[1]) is an Americanbasketball player for Beşiktaş[2] in the Turkish Basketball League. The 76ers selected Iverson with the number one pick in the 1996 NBA Draft.[3] He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in the 1996–97 season.
